Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Assistant Children’s Home Manager to join its client's residential home based in Bradford. In this role, you will provide exceptional care for children and young people. This role offers the opportunity to support the Registered Manager in ensuring the home operates to the highest standards of care, compliance, and safeguarding.

You will play a key role in managing staff, supporting care planning and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of Rowan House, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Support the Registered Manager in leading and supervising the residential care team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all decisions.
  • Promote safeguarding and well-being, maintaining high standards of practice.
  • Help manage resources and ensure efficient operational delivery.
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and partner agencies.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (or equivalent)
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Post-qualified experience in residential childcare
  • Strong leadership and safeguarding knowledge
