Assistant Team Manager - Families First (Non-Case Holding)

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Assistant Team Manager for its client's Families First (Non-Case Holding) Team at Spennymoor.

This is a non-case holding role, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, Advanced Practitioner, or Assistant Team Manager looking to develop their leadership skills and move into a more supportive management-focused position.

• →Supporting the Team Manager with the day-to-day operational management of the team
• →Quality assuring assessments, plans, and casework
• →Chairing team and professional meetings
• →Providing guidance, mentoring, and support to Social Workers
• →Assisting with the allocation of work across the team
• →Supporting performance management and practice improvement
• →Undertaking any additional tasks required to support the Team Manager and wider service

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration
• Qualified Social Worker
• Strong knowledge of Children's Services and safeguarding practice
• Experience supporting and developing practitioners
• Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential
