To be successful in this role you must have,
Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its clients Independence & Access team, supporting residents to maintain independence and safely access their homes and communities.
This role sits within Adult Social Care, focusing on assessment, equipment, and adaptations, helping reduce reliance on long-term care and promoting independence.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Carry out strengths-based Care Act assessments
- →Provide recommendations for equipment and minor/major adaptations (DFG)
- →Support individuals to remain independent at home
- →Undertake functional and environmental assessments
- →Complete moving & handling risk assessments
- →Work closely with housing, health, and social care partners
- →Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- →Contribute to waiting list reduction and service efficiency

- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Experience within Adults Social Care
- Knowledge of:
- Care Act 2014
- Equipment & adaptations
- Moving & Handling
- Strong assessment and case management skills
- Experience within a Local Authority OT service
- Knowledge of DFG / adaptations pathway
- Experience in community-based OT work
