Occupational Therapist – Local Authority

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for experienced Locum Occupational Therapists to support the London Borough of Sutton.

This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced OT to manage community-based cases through to completion, including assessment, equipment provision, risk management and major adaptation referrals.

• →Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and progress cases through to closure.
• →Record assessments and documentation accurately on Mosaic.
• →Obtain manager sign-off prior to case closure.
• →Assess and recommend appropriate equipment where required.
• →Complete risk assessments and reviews to ensure safe and effective interventions.
• →Identify and progress major adaptation referrals when necessary.
• →Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, health professionals, and partner agencies.
• →Maintain accurate records and ensure cases are completed within required timescales.

• Occupational Therapy Degree or Diploma.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience within Adult Social Care, community services, or a Local Authority setting.
• Strong knowledge of assessment, specialist equipment, and major adaptations.
• Experience completing risk assessments and reviews.
• Excellent case management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage cases through to completion.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• £350 flat rate per completed case closure.
• A case is considered complete once the assessment is recorded on Mosaic, manager sign-off is obtained, and any required equipment provision, risk assessment activity, or adaptation referral has been finalised.
• Minimum expectation of 10 completed case closures per month.
