An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Richmond Council in a fully remote position. Working as part of a team of three remote Occupational Therapists, you will provide Duty OT cover and screen incoming Occupational Therapy referrals, ensuring timely and effective support for adults with complex needs.
This role is ideally suited to an Occupational Therapist with a strong Adult Social Services background and extensive experience managing complex cases independently.

~1 min read- →Provide Duty Occupational Therapy cover Monday to Friday
- →Screen and prioritise incoming Occupational Therapy referrals
- →Assess complex cases and determine appropriate interventions
- →Provide specialist advice regarding major adaptations and moving and handling
- →Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure timely responses to referrals
- →Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date case records
Requirements
~1 min read- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within Adult Social Services
- Strong knowledge of major adaptations and moving and handling
- Experience managing complex cases independently
- Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
