We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our residential care team for children and young people. This role involves delivering high-quality care, leading shifts, and supporting the development of both residents and staff within a therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities

- →Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people.
- →Act as a role model, promoting positive behaviors and independence.
- →Support staff through guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
- →Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and record-keeping.
- →Respond to challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- →Work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies.

- Previous experience in residential childcare (minimum 1–2 years).
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (essential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
