Senior Locum Occupational Therapist – Community OT

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join its client's Community OT Team, supporting Pathway 1 Reablement services in Wolverhampton. This is a short‑term opportunity focused on community‑based OT work to promote independence and reduce ongoing care needs.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Deliver community‑based occupational therapy interventions within the reablement pathway
• Complete functional assessments to support safe discharge and prevent hospital admissions
• Promote independence through reablement‑focused practice
• Review progress and recommend appropriate equipment, adaptations, and onward support
• Work collaboratively with reablement staff, social care, and partner agencies
• Ensure timely, person‑centred interventions aligned with Pathway 1 objectives

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Significant experience in community OT and reablement
• Ability to work autonomously at a senior level
• Strong assessment, review, and care‑planning skills
