Senior Social Worker

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Senior Social Worker to join its client at Croydon.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term safeguarding team, working with children and families to deliver positive outcomes through effective assessment, intervention, and care planning. You'll manage a varied and rewarding caseload, working with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans, undertaking Section 47 enquiries, and progressing care proceedings where required.

• →Managing a complex caseload of children and families within a long-term safeguarding team.
• →Working with children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.
• →Undertaking Section 47 investigations and risk assessments.
• →Progressing care proceedings and preparing court reports.
• →Completing high-quality assessments, reports, and care plans.
• →Building effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies.
• →Providing guidance and support on complex cases within the team.
• →Delivering purposeful interventions that promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes for children and young people.

• Rate: £39.04 per hour
• Contract: Initial 3 months with potential extension
• Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
• Caseload: 18-23 cases
• Working Pattern: Hybrid working available

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration.
• Degree level qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Post-qualified experience within Children's Services.
• Experience managing complex safeguarding caseloads.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and court report writing skills.
• Ability to travel for home visits across the borough and occasionally out of area.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
