Senior Support Worker - Children’s Residential Home

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Support Worker to join its client’s Children’s Residential Home team based in Chippenham.

This three-bed residential home provides care for young people with learning difficulties and emotional and behavioural needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in leading a team of support staff, ensuring high standards of care, and helping young people thrive in a safe, nurturing environment

In this role, you will,

• →Support the management team in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care
• →Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers
• →Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance (Children’s Homes Regulations 2015)
• →Promote a culture of emotional warmth and trauma-informed care
• →Build strong, empathetic relationships with young people, families, and professionals
• →Participate in daily routines, activities, and reflective practice
• →Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in residential childcare
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic models (e.g., PACE, POP)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• UK driving licence
• Clear DBS and positive references
• Must be 21+ due to registration requirements
