Liquid Personnel is seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers to support young people living in a residential care setting Team in Wexford. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes safety, stability, emotional wellbeing, and positive life outcomes. You will contribute to creating a nurturing environment and play a key role in helping young people thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent, person-centred care and support to young people in line with individual care plans.
  • Promote independence, education, emotional wellbeing, and positive social development.
  • Work collaboratively within a trauma-informed, values-led team to support therapeutic care approaches.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, stable, and supportive residential environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Level 7 qualification or higher in Applied Social Care or a related discipline (CORU-approved or eligible).
  • Full, clean manual driving licence.
  • Willingness to work a flexible rota, including sleepovers and unsocial hours.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, professional standards, and young people’s rights.
