This is an exciting opportunity for Qualified, Experienced, and Advanced Social Workers to join a highly supportive Assessment & Child Protection Team, where you'll be empowered to make a real impact while developing your career in a nurturing environment.

Working within the innovative Family Safeguarding Model, you'll collaborate with specialist professionals including domestic abuse practitioners, recovery workers, and mental health experts to provide holistic, family-focused interventions that create meaningful and lasting change.

  • Completing high-quality statutory assessments and child protection investigations
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
  • Developing effective plans that safeguard children and improve outcomes
  • Managing complex cases and making confident, evidence-based decisions
  • Supporting children and families through periods of change and transition
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellent practice

We're looking for passionate and motivated practitioners who are committed to delivering outstanding social work and helping children thrive.

To be successful, you'll need:

βœ” A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent)
βœ” Current registration with Social Work England
βœ” Experience working within children's social care services
βœ” Strong assessment, safeguarding, and risk management skills
βœ” The ability to work collaboratively with families and multi-agency partners
βœ” A commitment to high-quality practice and continuous professional development
