Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Southend-on-Sea City Council in recruiting a Social Worker to join their Families First Service on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive Children's Service offering a salary of £39,152 - £45,091, hybrid working and a strong focus on professional development. Working within Southend's Relational, Systemic and Decisive practice model, you'll support children and families through meaningful interventions that create positive and lasting change.

Responsibilities

→Work directly with children, young people and families to achieve positive outcomes.
→Complete assessments, intervention plans and reviews.
→Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children's work.
→Build strong relationships with families using a restorative approach.
→Work closely with partner agencies to coordinate support and deliver effective interventions.

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).
Registration with Social Work England.
Successful completion of ASYE.
Previous experience within Children's Frontline Services.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
