Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Workers to join a dedicated Learning Disabilities Review Project in Taunton, for our client. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment, undertaking Care Act reviews and reassessments to ensure adults receive the right support and achieve positive outcomes.

This is a hybrid role requiring attendance in a Somerset office a minimum of two days per week, with travel across the county to attend visits and assessments.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• →Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work degree or equivalent.
• →Current Social Work England registration.
• →Significant post-qualified Adult Social Care experience.
• →Strong background in Learning Disabilities services.
• →Experience completing Care Act reviews and reassessments.
• →Excellent assessment, analytical and report-writing skills.
• →Knowledge of CHC processes, joint funding arrangements and health/social care boundaries.
• →Ability to work independently and make defensible professional decisions.
• →Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
