Social Worker – Locality Team

Our client based in Flintshire is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their Locality Team. This is a key practitioner role reporting into the Team Manager, requiring a confident and autonomous social worker with the ability to manage complex cases and make sound professional judgements in high-risk situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with adults and their families, undertaking statutory duties, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and delivering high-quality, outcome-focused interventions that promote independence and wellbeing.

• →Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care.
• →Proven experience assessing and managing risk and delivering outcome-focused care plans.
• →Experience working with adults, particularly older people, and their families/carers.
• →Demonstrable experience managing complex caseloads independently.
• →Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and undertaking related enquiries.

• Strong understanding of legislation relating to Adult Social Care.
• Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and risk management processes.
• Understanding of multi-agency working and integrated service delivery.

• Ability to work independently and use initiative in complex situations.
• Strong analytical, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise, and high-quality written reports.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
