Social Worker – Preparation for Adulthood

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Preparation for Adulthood team, based in Richmond Upon Thames.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• In this role, you will be undertaking assessments of individual and carers needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm.
• Working in partnership with service users and carers using a person-centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
• Applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• A recognised Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England (SWE) registration
• Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care
• Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation
• Strong multi-agency partnership working skills
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
• A compassionate, proactive, and person-centred approach to practice
• A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for adults and their families
