Liquid Personnel is recruiting passionate and dedicated Social Workers to join its client's Safeguarding Team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking local authority committed to delivering positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

As a Social Worker within the Safeguarding Team, you will manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing child-centred care plans, and delivering effective interventions to support vulnerable children and families. You will receive regular supervision, ongoing professional development opportunities, and support from experienced managers within a collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and child protection interventions.
  • Undertake assessments, create care plans, and review outcomes in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Work directly with children, young people, and families to identify needs and promote positive change.
  • Conduct child protection investigations and participate in strategy discussions and conferences.
  • Build effective partnerships with colleagues and multi-agency professionals to safeguard children.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and assessments.
  • Attend regular supervision and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Post-qualified experience within children's services.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent in Social Work.
  • Experience working within safeguarding or child protection environments is desirable.
