Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join its client's busy Adult Social Care Locality Team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and resilient leader to work alongside another Team Manager, driving performance, service delivery, and positive outcomes for adults with complex and long-term support needs.
This is an initial 3-month agency contract with the potential for extension. Flexible home working is available; however, candidates must be readily accessible during working hours and able to attend the office for meetings and service requirements as needed.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs Team Manager, you will provide operational leadership across the locality service, supporting practitioners to deliver high-quality Care Act assessments, reviews, safeguarding enquiries, and strength-based interventions. You will play a key role in performance management, KPI delivery, workforce development, and service improvement.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will lead and support Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and Social Care Practitioners while ensuring the safe and effective delivery of services to adults, carers, and families.
- →Lead and manage a multidisciplinary Adult Social Care team alongside a fellow Team Manager
- →Drive performance against KPIs, service targets, and statutory responsibilities
- →Provide supervision, support, and leadership to practitioners
- →Oversee Care Act assessments, reviews, and support planning
- →Coordinate and oversee safeguarding enquiries, offering guidance and oversight on complex cases
- →Chair safeguarding strategy meetings where required
- →Support change management and continuous service improvement initiatives
- →Monitor workloads, resource allocation, and service performance
- →Promote strength-based practice and positive risk management
- →Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve positive outcomes

- Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant Adult Social Care experience within a statutory setting
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Care Act 2014
- Safeguarding Adults
- Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Best Interests decision-making
- Health and Social Care eligibility criteria
- Experience managing performance, KPIs, and staff development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage complex situations and make confident decisions
