We are seeking an experienced, motivated and confident Team Manager for our client to lead and manage an Assessment & Intervention Team. The successful candidate will provide strong professional leadership, ensuring that children, young people and families receive high-quality, timely and effective assessments and interventions.
The Team Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, providing professional supervision, overseeing casework, managing risk and ensuring that practice complies with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and professional standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families and who can provide effective leadership in a fast-paced environment.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of practitioners within the Assessment & Intervention service.
- Provide clear direction, support and professional leadership to team members.
- Allocate work appropriately and ensure caseloads are effectively managed.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, workload and professional development
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
