Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe. Since its inception, Insomniac’s events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The company’s premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Street Marketing Intern to join the Marketing team in Calabasas. This role will support the Street Marketing team through a combination of in-office administrative coordination, onsite event support, grassroots marketing execution, and research projects while gaining hands-on experience in live event and promotional marketing. This position reports to the Manager, Street Marketing. This is a paid internship and is not a remote position.
Responsibilities

Support the Street Marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks and project coordination

Assist with preparing marketing materials, flyers, signage, and promotional assets for upcoming events and campaigns

Conduct research on local markets, community events, audience trends, and grassroots marketing opportunities

Assist with tracking inventory, managing supplies, and maintaining organization of marketing storage areas

Provide general support for special projects and other duties assigned by the Street Marketing team
Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Must be able to work out of Calabasas, CA office and greater Los Angeles area as needed
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Typical commitment is 16-29 hours per week
Basic knowledge of Google Workspace preferred
Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude
Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
Comfortable working outdoors, on foot, and independently for extended periods.
Physically able to carry, hang, and distribute material
Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the brand professionally onsite
Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands

The expected compensation for this position is:
$16.90 USD - $18.00 USD Hourly** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
