Job Summary:
This role, working closely with the SVP, Business Development North Europe, is responsible for executing the local commercial plan by identifying, developing, and managing growth opportunities within the Belgian market. The focus is on managing and growing relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and secure new business.
As a senior member of the local leadership team, this role is responsible for the day-to-day commercial performance of the business, ensuring business priorities are translated into actionable plans and successfully delivered across the local market.
You will lead the execution of commercial initiatives across Ticketmaster's core business, including music and live entertainment, while supporting the growth of Live Nation partnerships, expanding into new market opportunities, managing existing client relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring the successful delivery of events. You will also oversee the performance and development of the local team, ensuring operational excellence and high levels of client satisfaction.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong commercial execution, sales management, client relationship skills, and operational oversight. You will spend significant time working with clients, supporting sales activity, driving business development opportunities, resolving commercial challenges, and ensuring teams are aligned to deliver against agreed objectives.
Using your knowledge, you will represent Ticketmaster in the market, maintain strong relationships with promoters, venues, and partners, and work closely with internal teams to deliver commercial commitments and excellent service.
Working alongside the SVP Business Development and regional support teams, you will implement agreed business plans, monitor performance against commercial targets, provide regular progress updates, and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
You will be responsible for leading regular local management meetings and ensuring effective communication across the business through team meetings and Town Halls. You will also oversee key local commercial functions, including Marketing, and ensure teams are aligned around shared priorities and deliverables, regardless of reporting lines.
Success in this role depends on building strong working relationships across local, regional, and global teams, ensuring effective collaboration with specialist functions including Operations, Client Management, Event Delivery, Global Touring, Market Pricing, and Fan Experience. You will coordinate with these teams to ensure successful client onboarding, event delivery, and ongoing account management.

Responsibilities

- As Managing Director, you will support the ongoing execution of the Market business and sales plan and ensure agreed commercial initiatives are delivered in alignment with Regional and Global priorities.
- Be a figure head for the local business, you will ensure that all your local team are aware of the Local, Regional, and Global priorities and offer your team regular updates on business performance. This will include scheduling regular one-to-one team, and local office Town Halls with all staff within your local office, as well as contributing to and participating in wider Ticketmaster Regional forums, as and when required.
- You will be responsible for leading and developing the local Sales and Marketing teams
- Provide regular updates to the SVP and International Leadership team on market performance, client activity, and relevant competitive developments.

- Deliver against assigned revenue, gross margin, and client satisfaction targets for the market.
- Develop and present client proposals that incorporate available products, services, and commercial enhancements to drive revenue.
- Manage commercial negotiations and coordinate the execution of client agreements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across all levels of client organizations, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Support client adoption of products and marketing solutions by recommending appropriate offerings and best practices.
- Conduct prospect outreach, prepare proposals, and deliver sales presentations to acquire new clients.
- Review client performance and market data to identify sales opportunities and recommend commercial actions.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify potential new business opportunities within the market.
- Ensure smooth transitions from business development to execution.
- Work closely with Regional and Global teams to support product launches, share market feedback, and execute business initiatives.
- Implement and monitor deal performance, proactively addressing underperformance.
- Support the execution of regional and global business initiatives by providing local market insights and implementing agreed actions.
- Act as a key member of the regional leadership, contributing to wider organizational priorities and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams reporting to SVP Business Development on market demands to ensure the country’s needs are represented in the broader roadmap.
- Report regularly to regional and global leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Global Lines of Business such as operations and fan experience to ensure client priorities are delivered
- Reporting regularly to Regional and Global Leadership teams on any key developments in relation to business performance; client relationships; commercial negotiations; contract renewals; new business opportunities and competitor threats or activity within your market.
Requirements

- 7+ years consultative sales, business development or commercial experience,
- Must be fluent in Local language with strong English skills.
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership ability.
- Must have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage client relationships, manage and develop key employees, analyze numbers, and be proactive, flexible, and innovative.
- Experience in ticketing, live events, venue management, promotion, e-business, media or entertainment industries preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
