Utility & Permitting Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Utility Coordinator to join our team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In this role, you will perform the critical task of coordinating railroad utility permits and assisting with managing the permitting program for various projects. • →High school diploma or GED with relevant utility coordination and/or permitting experience considered in lieu of a degree.  Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is a plus but not required.
• →Relevant utility permitting experience; railroad permitting experience is a plus.
• →Familiar with surveys, abstracts, metes-and-bounds descriptions, lots and blocks, and right of ways.
• →Strives to establish, maintain, develop, and grow working relationships with internal and external clients and customers.
• →Can manage multi-tasking many small projects with multiple deadlines and moving targets.
• →Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.  Ability to interface with the client and provide accurate details with a short response time.
• →Relevant experience developing and/or reviewing utility relocation designs and plan and profile exhibits. Other closely related experience may be considered. 
• →Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is a plus but not required. 
• →Willingness and ability to obtain necessary Utility Coordination and Railroad certifications in the state. 
• →Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• →Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Pro, and GIS systems. 
• →Valid Driver's License.
