Iron Worker Welder

• →Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel components using SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux Core), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) processes as required.
• →Erect and install structural steel, platforms, handrails, stairs, supports, and related components.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and specifications.
• →Measure, cut, align, and assemble metal components to project requirements.
• →Operate welding equipment, torches, grinders, forklifts, aerial lifts, and other construction tools safely.
• →Perform field welding, repairs, and modifications on structural and mechanical systems.
• →Inspect welds and completed installations for quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• →Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• →Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• →Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety procedures.
• →Complete required documentation, reports, and safety inspections.

• GED or High School Diploma.
• TWIC Card and/or Real IDs are required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld specifications.
• Proficiency with multiple welding processes and cutting methods.
• Experience working at heights and in industrial or construction environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Welding certifications (AWS, CWB, or equivalent) preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication, ironwork, or welding.
• Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during long shifts.
• Skilled in math which includes adding and subtracting fractions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and do a drug screening.

• AWS Certified Welder
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• NCCER Ironworker Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification
• Forklift Certification
• MSHA Certification (for mining projects)
