Summary/Objective: LOGZONE is seeking a Stationary Engineer serving a government contract at EPA Edison, New Jersey. The Stationary Engineer will oversee other contractor personnel on site, including stationary engineers, electricians, and general maintenance workers. 

The Stationary Engineer must have five (5) years as a licensed HVAC&R technician and NJ Black Seal. They must have experience with a minimum of 300 ton chillers, 250 BHP boilers, air handlers (filters), lab fume hoods, refrigeration, and generator systems. The Stationary Engineer will perform diagnostics, parts replacement, corrective repairs, and PM aligned OEM and EPA schedules. The Stationary Engineer will execute testing and balancing (TAB), vibration/oil analysis, and will use CMMS to optimize uptime. 

The Stationary Engineer will have expertise in controls, installation and distribution. They will have proficiency with pneumatic and electric/BAS controls (calibration, sequencing, troubleshooting). They will size and install packaged HVAC and window A/C units. They will size, fabricate, and install sheet metal/ductwork. They will perform testing, adjusting, and balancing to design criteria. 

The Stationary Engineer must handle environmental compliance and be a safety steward when handling, dispensing, or recovering refrigerants. They will maintain refrigerant logs and leak protocols.
