As an Integration Technician, you will be responsible for performing critical work to build the launch vehicle, supporting ground equipment, and propulsion. You will be responsible for the integration and assembly efforts to ensure a quality product and on-time delivery for missions. We are looking for an individual who enjoys solving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Integrate launch vehicle and supporting ground equipment per work instructions, taking a lead role in resolving build non-conformances
Test systems after integration, including high-pressure leak checks
Work alongside engineers to execute procedures effectively to safely accomplish integration and testing activities
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
Integrate key components and hardware, including engine and vehicle checkouts
Perform assembly of propulsion systems and electrical harness routing
Maintain high-level documentation and work cross-functionally as needed
High School Diploma
6+ years of hands-on technical experience within manufacturing
Knowledge of ESD, FOD, and tool control
Experience with connector population, wire cutting, contact crimping, wire/cable routing, component installation, hardware torque, and general mechanical assembly
Proficient with work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical manuals to perform a variety of electro/mechanical assembly operations
Experience with high-pressure testing
Knowledge of 5S principles and AS9100
Proficient with precision tooling (calipers, torque wrenches, pin gauges)
Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with launch vehicle, propulsion, or rocket engine integration
Include broader competencies such as adaptability, learning agility, or cross-functional exposure where relevant
IPC J-STD-001 or NASA-STD-8739 certification
Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians in a build or test environment
Familiarity with MES, ERP, or non-conformance / MRB documentation systems
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer to complete assignments
Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone, and telepresence
Ability to pick up to 20lbs
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment
Ability to work off ladders
