Full-Time Faculty - Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program

Reporting directly to the Dean of Health and Wellness Sciences, the Full-Time Faculty member will serve as a Primary Instructor for the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP). This educator delivers classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course, ensuring full alignment with Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). 

All faculty members are responsible for serving Lorain County and surrounding communities, driving student success, maintaining strict state compliance, fulfilling all contracted hours as scheduled, and upholding the college's vision, mission, and core values. 

Principal Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities of the Full Time Faculty position include:

• Preparing trainees to pass the Ohio CNA exam by delivering the approved NATCEP curriculum (lecture, lab, and clinical) to which he or she is assigned. 
• Student academic monitoring and intervention including structured student guidance and remediation for those needing extra help in theory or clinical practice. 
• Assist the Program Director with curriculum development and curriculum management utilizing course learning management systems (i.e., Canvas)
