Conference and Dining Services at The John A. Spitzer Conference Center in Elyria, Ohio, is seeking dependable, hands-on team members for part-time Event Facilitator positions in our newly renovated facility.
Event Facilitators are responsible for the setup, operation, and breakdown of meetings and events. Duties include configuring event spaces, arranging tables and chairs, setting up and testing audiovisual equipment, and ensuring rooms are fully prepared for client use.
This role serves as the on-site operational support for events, responding to room, equipment, and technology needs while maintaining a professional and efficient environment. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, comfort working with technology, and the ability to perform physical setup and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday, that includes early mornings, late evenings, and weekends and must have reliable transportation.
