Weekend Inventory Processing Associate

Description

The Inventory Processing Associate - Weekends, at DTXT- LotsofAuctions.com, plays a key role in preparing items for our online auctions. This position involves inspecting, accurately identifying, sorting, barcoding, and listing products in our database.

This job is a great fit for people who have worked on a production line or in quality control. You will be a key player in ensuring smooth online auctions by carefully inspecting and listing products.

• →Ability to perform repetitive tasks successfully opening boxing, inspecting items, using handheld devices to take photos
• →Excellent data entry skills.
• →Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• →Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
• →Proficient with computers, navigating the internet, websites and computer programs.
• →Able to meet daily production and quality targets
• →Ability to lift and move hundreds of items daily ranging from 10lb-50lb
• →Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple areas of the warehouse
• →Flexible and team-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• →Correctly identify items based on appearance, function and/or online description
• →Properly enter items in an online database
• →Maintain adherence to departmental key performance indicators (KPI) communicated by management on a consistent basis after training is completed.
• →Willingness and ability to work in different areas of the warehouse as needed.

Education and Experience:

• →High school diploma or equivalent required.
• →Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• →Standing for Long Periods: Ability to stand and be on your feet for 12+ hours a day
• →Working in Extreme Weather Conditions: Must be comfortable working indoors during summer and winter months when temperatures vary
• →Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently and assist with team lifts of items heavier than 50 lbs as needed.
• →Team Lifting: Collaborating with other team members to safely move large and bulky items
