The Department of History in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Louisiana State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Modern East Asian History, with a preference for historians of the nineteenth or twentieth centuries. Those working on modern China are encouraged to apply, but we welcome candidates who specialize in any part of the region. Applicants should be prepared to teach survey courses in World History as well as upper-level courses in their area of expertise.
Responsibilities

- →Mentor graduate students pursuing the Global History minor.
- →Engage in scholarly research and publication.
- →Contribute to service within the department and university.
