Position Description: The Regional Strategy and Outreach Coordinator serves a critical role in advancing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of LSU AgCenter Extension and Research programs throughout the Northeast Region. This position supports regional outreach, communications, and digital engagement efforts to ensure that programs, resources, and educational initiatives remain relevant, accessible, and responsive to the needs of stakeholders and clientele across the region.

Working closely with faculty throughout the region, the coordinator will lead and support strategic communication initiatives by developing and managing content for web-based platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and other outreach channels. Responsibilities include content creation, content management, graphic design, marketing support, and training faculty and staff in the effective use of web publishing, content management and communication tools.

The coordinator will oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of regional web content by coordinating the creation of new materials, updating existing resources, and archiving outdated information. The position will help ensure that digital content is accurate, engaging, user-focused, and aligned with LSU AgCenter branding and communication standards. This includes reviewing content for quality, consistency, style, grammar, and relevance while maximizing accessibility and reach for diverse audiences.

A key responsibility of this role is ensuring compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards across digital platforms. The coordinator will review new content for compliance, assist with remediation of legacy materials, and promote best practices that enhance accessibility and usability for all audiences.

The Regional Strategy and Outreach Coordinator reports directly to the Northeast Region Director and collaborates regularly with Communications and Information Technology personnel. Through participation in ongoing planning and strategy meetings, the position will help align regional outreach efforts with LSU AgCenter communication priorities, branding

standards, digital engagement strategies, and technology initiatives to strengthen the overall impact of Extension and Research programs throughout the Northeast Region.
