Co-op Student: Mining Engineering (June 2027 start)

Co-op Students are responsible for projects related to the Mining Engineering Department.  Luck Companies works with the university to ensure that the year that the student works to experience the aggregate industry from the corporate and field environment. Students will work Summer 2027 (June-Aug), return to school for their Fall semester, then work for Luck Companies for the calendar year of Jan 2028-Dec 2028.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Support location Mining Engineering projects aligned with strategic objectives-based schooling knowledge and analysis of existing operations and company practices  

• Support and contribute to location business plan and the mine plan.  

• Analyze, inform, and recommend innovative practices for operations regarding products, processes, people, and technology, using data analytics.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  

 Current full-time student at a partnering university 

 Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software

ENVIRONMENT OR PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS   

General office conditions apply.   

Ability to work with occasional exposure to dirty and dusty conditions and extremes of weather.
