Beverage Service Technician

• →Install, maintain, and repair beverage dispensing equipment, both in the field and in shop.
• →Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems on site without direct supervision.
• →Complete all required service records and documentation accurately and on time, following company protocols.
• →Keep your company service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with the repair parts you need.
• →Communicate effectively with customers, salespeople, brokers, and management, keeping each informed and coordinating as needed.
• →Represent Lyons Magnus professionally.

• Working knowledge of basic electrical, light plumbing, and general mechanical repair.
• Experience with refrigerated beverage or juice dispensing equipment, or similar refrigeration/dispensing equipment preferred.
• Extensive experience with the installation, ongoing service, removal, and refurbishment of beverage dispensing equipment with an emphasis on cold beverage equipment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage in-house and field service work to meet customer needs and company deadlines.
• Ability to effectively manage equipment and parts inventories including monitoring, tracking, and reordering utilizing set processes.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including email, entering service records, keeping inventory, and using work order software.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physically demanding service work such as bending, kneeling, and working in tight spaces.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and ability to drive a company vehicle.

• Willingness to work an occasional weekend and rare overnight travel.
• College coursework or associate degree, bachelor’s degree not required but a plus.
• A minimum of one year of experience in the foodservice industry with specific emphasis on dispensed beverage programs.
