ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to read and understand company basic drawings (x/y axis dimensions).
- Set up and operates cutting equipment, saws and precision measuring tools.
- Ensure materials are used and handled appropriately.
- Measures, marks, and cuts materials with precision.
- Ability to control feed rate and material support reducing chipping and cracking.
- Ensure finished product meets quality standards and specifications.
- Keeps track of supply inventory.
- Maintain clean and safe work area.
- Perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance ensuring cutting tools and machinery are in safe working condition.
- Assist in continuous improvement activities to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent precision cutting skills.
- Proficient at the use of templates.
- Ability to operate multiple types of hand tools and precision measuring tools.
- Demonstrated ability to use a table saw/wet saw.
- Ability to work well independently and with a team.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day.
