EEC Preschool Certification or CDA required

High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting

A nurturing demeanor and a love for preschoolers and their development

A minimum of one year of experience working in a preschool classroom, supporting age-appropriate curriculum, social-emotional growth, and cognitive and motor development

Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts

Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday

Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials

Providing engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each preschooler's development

Keeping parents informed and building positive relationships with children and families

Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment

Assisting with daily routines, including meals, bathroom needs, and naptime

Tracking children's progress and completing required assessments

Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry

Helping preschoolers build confidence, independence, and early social and communication skills
