In August 2026 MaintainX became part of Autodesk, joining Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization unifying Autodesk's operations platform alongside Tandem, FlexSim and Fusion Operations. You won't just be managing platform engineers, you'll help transform how every MaintainX engineer writes, ships, and maintains software through autonomous coding agents and infrastructure. We're looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our newly formed AI Builder Tools team. This lean, high-autonomy, focused team has one mandate: make every MX engineer more productive through agentic tooling across the software development lifecycle — starting with autonomous coding agents that can take a ticket, implement the change, and open a pull request with with minimal hand-holding.   Manage a team of platform engineers, driving delivery, quality, and innovation on our agentic SDLC platform.

  Partner with Engineering Leadership and Platform teams to scope, plan, and deliver the infrastructure that powers autonomous coding agents across MaintainX.

  Lead, mentor, and grow your developers—helping them build new skills in agent frameworks, developer tooling, and platform engineering.

  Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the team in achieving goals.

  Champion software development excellence—ensuring strong CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, observability, and agent orchestration practices.

  Provide visibility into team impact, progress, and risks to senior leadership—including agent-produced PR rates, adoption metrics, and quality guardrails.

  Collaborate with Recruiting and other Software Development Managers to hire, onboard, and scale a world-class platform engineering organization.
