Are you ready to take ownership of global supply planning and turn complex challenges into practical solutions?
At Nynas, we are looking for a Global Supply Planner to help shape and optimise the supply chain for our Naphthenic Specialty Products. This is an opportunity to combine analytical thinking with hands-on operational responsibility, ensuring products are available where they are needed while balancing customer service, inventory and cost.
A role with reach and responsibility
You will work across our global supply network, connecting production, shipping, depots and customer demand. With a high level of autonomy, you will make planning decisions, anticipate supply risks and develop solutions that support efficient, reliable operations.
Your work will extend beyond the daily plan. You will contribute insights to production and commercial decisions, challenge existing ways of working and participate in or lead improvement projects. It is a role for someone who wants to understand the bigger picture and take an active part in improving it.
What you will do
- Own and optimise global supply planning, aligning product availability with demand forecasts and cost objectives.
- Coordinate international shipments to our hub, depot network and external customers.
- Plan and purchase freight, inspection and depot services, and coordinate call-offs from external suppliers.
- Anticipate supply challenges, identifying potential shortages or quality-related disruptions and developing scenario-based recommendations.
- Influence planning decisions through clear insights into supply, demand and global inventories.
- Drive continuous improvement, helping optimise logistics arrangements and reduce cost to serve.
About you
You are analytical, organised and proactive. You enjoy working through complex planning challenges, building trusted relationships and translating information into clear recommendations. You are comfortable taking initiative and collaborating across functions to find workable solutions.
You also bring:
- A university degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is desirable.
- At least two years of experience in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of planning and operations management.
- Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- The confidence to challenge established approaches while building trust and cooperation.
- Fluent in English, and meritorious with Swedish
Why this role stands out
Global exposure. Work across an international supply network with colleagues and external partners spanning manufacturing, shipping, sales, finance and technical functions.
Meaningful ownership. Take responsibility for your area, with the autonomy to identify issues, recommend solutions and drive improvements.
Complexity that develops your expertise. Deepen your understanding of the connections between production, inventory, logistics and commercial priorities.
The opportunity to shape how we work. Bring your ideas, challenge the status quo constructively and turn analysis into operational improvements.
