Payroll Supervisor

• →Lead, train, mentor and support payroll team members.
• →Lead payroll initiatives including system migrations and process improvements.
• →Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.
• →Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• →Review and approve payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and according to applicable requirements.
• →Resolve complex payroll discrepancies, system issues, tax concerns, and sensitive employee pay inquiries.
• →Oversee federal, state, and local payroll tax activities, including ADP tax filings and year-end W-2 processing.
• →Conduct internal audits and reconciliations.
• →Help shape payroll operations built around accurate pay, strong relationships, and continuous improvement.

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 2 years supervising a team.
• Experience processing multi-state payroll and applying federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Experience with ADP WFN or other HRIS systems.
• Proven ability to coach and lead others.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• FPC/CPP certification (or currently in progress)
• Experience in benefits and leave administration
• Experience with Workers' Compensation administration
