Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Creative Marketing Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team. This position is based out of our regional office located in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work model.
Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group is comprised of more than 1,800 Permanente physicians and nearly 300 staff professionals who come together to make a positive impact on the health and lives of approximately 750,000 Kaiser Permanente members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Community Engagement, the Creative Marketing Manager will serve as a highly creative, hands-on marketing professional responsible for bringing the MAPMG brand to life across patient, physician, sales, and community audiences. In this role, you will translate marketing strategy into high-quality visual communications, compelling content, community education, presentations, advertising, and marketing collateral that strengthen the brand and support organizational growth.
You can expect to:
- Partner with the Director of Marketing & Community Engagement to execute strategies that strengthen how MAPMG physicians and the organization are represented in the community.
- Manage multiple creative and marketing projects from concept through completion, including developing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, managing approvals, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new content, campaigns, creative concepts, and marketing materials.
- Design a broad range of marketing and communications materials, including one-pagers, presentation decks, community education materials, email creative, print advertisements, flyers, and digital and social graphics.
- Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and supporting materials for physicians participating in community events, conferences, and other external engagements.
- Translate clinical and healthcare information into visually engaging, easy-to-understand communications while maintaining brand standards.
- Execute monthly and segmented patient email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and develop engaging layouts, graphics, copy, and content.
- Monitor email engagement and key performance indicators to help improve content, creative, and audience engagement.
- Support digital and social advertising initiatives by developing creative concepts, copy, and health education content.
- Perform basic video editing and multimedia production, including graphics, titles, lower thirds, and presentation visuals, while collaborating with external resources on more complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of professional experience in graphic design, creative marketing, marketing, communications, or a related field. Healthcare communications experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software for design projects.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing and associated technologies. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Stripo is preferred.
- Experience applying brand standards and developing marketing materials across print and digital channels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to clearly present design concepts and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Creative, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving business needs and brand guidelines
- Must be able to commute to Washington D.C., on an as needed basis.
- Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
- Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment
