Marble makes it possible for kids to get real therapy. School social workers can see which students need care, and too often have nowhere to send them: waitlists are long, and clinicians who take insurance and work with children are hard to find. Marble is where those referrals go. We provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families across New York City and New York State.
Marble was founded by an experienced team, including two co-founders of Headway. Our clinical leadership includes LCSWs and child psychiatrists with decades of experience in youth mental health, and our therapists work closely with them to shape both how we deliver care and how the company runs.
About the Role
~1 min readMarble’s clinical team is committed to delivering high-quality care to children, adolescents, and families referred by school social workers throughout New Jersey. Our therapists provide support in various settings, including individual, family, and group therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Therapists at Marble work on a flexible, part-time basis. Many start with just a few hours per week, and have the opportunity to increase their hours as their availability and interest in taking on more clients grow. This model allows therapists to maintain flexibility in their schedules while benefiting from a supportive, collaborative environment that fosters professional growth.
Our LSWs benefit from supervision by highly skilled LCSWs, who offer not only clinical guidance but also opportunities to provide input into Marble’s evolving model of care. In this collaborative environment, our therapists play a key role in shaping both clinical and operational processes and ensuring continuous improvement.
Marble was founded by an experienced team, including two co-founders of Headway, and our clinicians work closely with Marble’s clinical leadership, including LCSWs and child psychiatrists with decades of experience. Together, we are building an innovative, supportive environment where therapists can thrive and make a meaningful impact.
- Supervision toward your LCSW. Supervision from an experienced LCSW at no cost to you, counting toward your licensure hours.
- See students from home, on hours you set. Fully remote. You set your availability and we schedule inside it.
- A caseload we send you. Referrals come from school social workers who already know the student. No marketing, panel-building, or waiting to fill a schedule.
- No admin. We handle credentialing and billing, and an AI scribe drafts your notes so you review and sign rather than write from scratch.
All Marble therapists work on a contract basis, and the commitment is yours to set. Some carry as few as 10 students; for others Marble is their primary role, with caseloads up to 25. Most clinicians start small and add students as their availability grows.
- NJ License. You must be licensed in the state of NJ to work with Marble in this role.
- Clinical Excellence: You have a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and are committed to ongoing professional development to enhance your therapeutic skills.
- Passion for Serving Children and Families: You are driven by a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and their families, offering compassionate care and support during challenging times.
- Growth mindset: You welcome feedback as an opportunity to grow and improve, and you actively engage in supervision to refine your practice.
- Cultural Competence: You are adept at working with diverse populations and are sensitive to the unique experiences and backgrounds of the clients and families you serve.
- Empathy and Compassion: You approach each client and family with deep understanding and care.
