Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Patrol Officer to protect one of our newest client sites. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

• →Deter criminal activity and misconduct
• →Respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or the presence of unauthorized persons by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
• →Make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
• →Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports
• →Operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, navigate security software systems or applications, and use email
• →Demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and appearance
• →Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
• →Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor

Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following:

• Two years of customer service experience
• One year of security experience
• Law enforcement experience
• Corrections experience
• Military experience

• Valid GA Security License
• Valid GA Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
• Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
• Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
