What We Offer
~1 min read✓Proven leadership experience within a quarrying operation or similar heavy industrial environment
✓Strong understanding of Quarry Regulations, including the requirements associated with a Regulation 8 appointment (Category C or D)
✓Experience of leading safe, compliant operations within a highly regulated environment
✓Demonstrable experience of managing operational budgets and controlling costs
✓Excellent knowledge of risk assessments and safe systems of work
✓Strong understanding of production processes and health, safety and environmental requirements
✓Knowledge of different methods of winning and extracting raw materials
✓Understanding of mineral processing activities, including feeding, crushing, screening, washing, separation, classification and beneficiation techniques
✓MPQC Level 6 Diploma in Safety, Health and Environmental Management in Mineral Products, or equivalent
✓IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
- Experience of leading and delivering change within a unionised environment
- Experience of managing capital investment programmes
- Project management experience
- WAMITAB qualification where landfill operations exist
