ReadiVet is seeking a veterinary assistant or technician to join its growing clinic team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of veterinary assistant experience and/or veterinary technician license,
  • Proficiency in surgery, dental rads, and procedures
  • Must be comfortable and confident in caring for patients in front of clients, including restraining animals, performing blood draws, placing catheters, preparing for surgery, and performing dental cleanings with x-ray, among other tasks.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and comfortable speaking with clients
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to work 4-day work week, 8:00 am- 6:00 pm
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. with assistance (we bring our equipment with us)
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license, and ability/comfort in driving to appointments
  • Professional, friendly phone etiquette and text messaging skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. with assistance
