This role is a senior leader responsible for the growth, client experience, and overall success of Matter Family Office within the west region. This role serves as a trusted advisor to key client families, leads regional business development, develops and coaches talent, and partners with firm leadership to advance Matter's strategy and culture. The ideal candidate combines deep experience serving high-net-worth families with strong business development capabilities, executive presence, and a collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

  • →Serve as a senior relationship leader and trusted advisor to key Matter client families, building deep, long-term relationships across generations.
  • →Lead regional growth and business development efforts, including developing prospective client and referral relationships and converting opportunities into new business.
  • →Partner with Matter's investment advisory, family learning & communication, and client service teams to deliver a coordinated, high-quality client experience.
  • →Lead, coach, and develop regional talent while building a strong, collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • →Partner with the leadership team on firm strategy, organizational priorities, and growth initiatives.
  • →Represent Matter in the regional market and build relationships with centers of influence and professional advisors.
  • →Ensure strong execution, accountability, and collaboration across the regional team.
  • →Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client matters and help guide thoughtful solutions to family and business challenges.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in wealth management, family office, private banking, investment management, or a related financial services environment.
  • Significant experience working directly with high-net-worth and/or ultra-high-net-worth families.
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing complex client relationships.
  • Proven business development and relationship origination experience.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing senior professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong understanding of the interconnected nature of investments, wealth planning, family governance, and family dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, judgment, and executive presence.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional credentials preferred.
