We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based concepts and curriculum and are keen to help our clients progress in life for those who are truly ready to start the process of re-inventing themselves, becoming all that they could possibly imagine. We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented substance abuse professional who is passionate about supporting people on their recovery journey. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in a team environment, and demonstrates integrity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity while delivering evidence-based care.
Requirements
~1 min read- Current Illinois IDHS license as a Substance Abuse Professional (e.g., CADC, LSW, LPC, or equivalent).
- SAP-DOT qualification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing substance use counseling or related behavioral-health services.
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and crisis-management skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards.
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide individual and group counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
- →Complete assessments and create personalized treatment plans.
- →Monitor progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and IDHS standards.
- →Facilitate educational workshops, relapse-prevention programs, and family support sessions.
- →Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to support recovery.
