Classification

Minimum Pay

Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.

• Provide academic instruction and support for students enrolled in IET programs.
• Facilitate technical learning opportunities and assist students preparing for certification or credentialing exams.
• Assess students’ basic skill levels and adapt instruction to meet learning needs.
• Administer and proctor assessments as required.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records, submitting documentation promptly.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in department meetings, work activities, and college-wide initiatives as assigned.

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated professionalism, patience, and cultural competency in diverse educational settings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of teaching, coaching, or related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering industry-related or technical training is preferred but not necessary—training and support will be provided for qualified candidates.
