PT Rose Specialist

McDugald Steele is seeking a Part-Time Rose Specialist to support the care and maintenance of rose gardens across high-end residential properties in Houston.

This role focuses on hands-on garden work, including pruning, fertilizing, and maintaining the health and appearance of roses. You will work alongside our garden management team to ensure each property is maintained with attention to detail and care.

·         Prune and shape rose bushes throughout the season

·         Support fertilization and plant health care programs

·         Assist with planting, mulching, and general garden maintenance

·         Monitor plant health and report issues to the team

·         Maintain clean and organized work areas

·         Follow safety guidelines and company standards on each property

·         Experience with gardening, landscaping, or plant care is helpful but not required

·         Willingness to learn proper rose care and maintenance techniques

·         Ability to work outdoors in Houston weather conditions

·         Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

·         Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!

·         Experience with gardening, landscaping, or plant care is helpful but not required

·         Willingness to learn proper rose care and maintenance techniques

·         Ability to work outdoors in Houston weather conditions
