Work in a collaborative project team environment, supporting engineers and project managers on pipeline, pump station, and treatment plant projects while producing plans primarily using Autodesk Civil 3D.
Manage project tasks and coordinate with other CAD staff.
Produce plans, profiles, cross-sections, elevations, structure sections, construction details, references, and perspective drawings.
Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables and archiving.
Coordinate with teams outside of Florida East, as needed, to support other McKim & Creed projects.

7+ years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Proficiency in Revit, including model development, views, sheets, families, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Strong understanding of civil construction drawings, terminology, and drafting standards.
Experience preparing plan-and-profile drawings and underground utility designs.
Ability to interpret survey data, engineering calculations, sketches, and design markups.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and other design professionals

A methodical and consistent approach to your work, with the ability to a variety of projects and priorities.
Effective self-scheduling, organization, and coordination within a project team environment.
Technical design skills supporting teams outside of Florida East, as needed, to support other McKim & Creed projects.

Strong communication skills with the ability to understand, coordinate, and execute tasks assigned by project managers and engineers.
Experience with design and project-support software, such as Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
Associates degree; college-level CAD classes is a plus.
