Nurse Assistant - Hospice - Eastern Upper Peninsula

1. →Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN in effort to identify/attain treatment goals.
2. →Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
3. →Provides physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, feeding, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising. 
4. →Ensures compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
5. →Maintains safe and clean working environment and protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control, hazardous waste and other policies and protocols.
6. →Performs other related job duties as requested.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• State Certified Nursing Assistant.

   

• BLS certification required within first week of hire
• Valid Michigan Driver's License, proof of valid auto insurance, and maintain a driving record in accordance with McLaren's corporate driving policy and eligibility guidelines

• six months of experience with a variety of patients
