Main Purpose of Job
The regional Provider Services Director supports this position in furthering the DDA’s mission. The main purpose of this position is to assess, support, monitor, and provide technical assistance to DDA licensed and Qualified providers to increase the capacity of DDA service providers. This position will review applications to become DDA licensed providers, review and approve annual renewal applications for DDA licensed providers and make recommendations to the regional Provider Services Director. This position will work with providers to ensure they and their licensed sites are comply with the CMS Community Settings rule, and provide support regarding service provision changes needed to meet the rule.\r\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:� �Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r\nExperience: One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources. \r\nNotes: \r\n1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience. \r\n2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education. \r\n
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The preferred candidate should possess:\r\n\r\n\r\n Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and using technology to drive DDA transformations.\r\n Experience with Medicaid/Medicare Waiver programs, specifically Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).\r\n Experience with PCPS (Planning and Care Coordination System) and LTSS system functionality.\r\n Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with non-profit or government organizations, particularly aging services.\r\n Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite.\r\n Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business.� �\r\n\r\n\r\n
