Compensation: Non-exempt; Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience. This position qualifies for a $3,000 sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • →Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • →Leading service calls and responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on-call rotations and overtime work as needed.
  • →Conducting preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to optimize efficiency.
  • →Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure correct installation and repairs.
  • →Ensuring compliance with MCI’s high standards for quality and safety, following industry best practices and regulatory codes.
  • →Acting as a trusted advisor for customers, providing expert recommendations and building long-term relationships.
  • →Training and mentoring junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • →Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management) to identify solutions and support business development.
  • →Completing all required documentation, including work orders, warranty claims, and service reports, with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills - the ability to identify and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug & background check.Safety-first mindset – understanding and following all industry regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and internal teams.
