Medical Director

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director / Attending Physician to provide leadership and clinical oversight for nursing home and long-term care facilities in the Toledo, Ohio area. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a physician with experience as an attending physician in skilled nursing or post-acute settings who is looking for a flexible role with strong earning potential. The Medical Director will work collaboratively with facility leadership, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to support high-quality patient care, clinical decision-making, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Serve as Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for assigned nursing home facilities Provide clinical oversight and support for resident care Participate in care plan development and interdisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with facility leadership and nursing staff to improve quality outcomes Review complex cases, treatment plans, and clinical concerns as needed Support regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives Act as a resource for staff on medical management issues in the long-term care setting Qualifications Active and unrestricted physician license in Ohio Board certification preferred Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care required Experience as an Attending Physician strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Comfort working in a part-time, facility-based role Compensation $220,000–$250,000 annualized full-time equivalent Prorated compensation for part-time schedule Flexible schedule depending on facility coverage and availability Why Join Us?
